In the year 1173 C.E(569 A.H) Khwaza Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki(R.A) was born in a town named Aush or Awash in Mawar-un-Nahar(Transoxania). In the midnight he was born and as he born the whole house become bright with the strange light which has been castle all over. After the birth it was reputed that he prostrated himself in-adoration and say "Allah Allah". After a short period as he raised his head the bright light was disappeared. Bakhtiar was his original name and Qutbuddin as a title given to him later. Further in Delhi by vertue of a Miracle he was attributed with the name Kaki. He was also the direct lineage to the Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W.S) and descending from "Hussain ibn Ali". When Khwaza Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki(R.A) was only one and half years of age his father pass away and all of his education was arranged by his mother. We have seen the immense influence on Sufism of Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki(R.A) in India. In the Chishti Order as he started the development with traditional ideas of the universal brotherhood as well as charity, the new way of Islam comming up in India which had not been present until this time. In the period of thirtenth & fourtenth centuries Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki(R.A) was make an important role of the "Sufi movement" which draw attention to many "people to Islam" in India.

Before his death, when Moinuddin Chishti(R.A) come to Isfahan Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki(R.A) took "Oath" of allegiance from his hands & accept the "Khilafat" & "Khirgah" from him. Therefore Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki(R.A) was the 1st spiritual successor of Khwaza Moinuddin Chishti(R.A). Thereafter Moinuddin Chishti(R.A) asked Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki(R.A) to went to India and stay over there. There was no parallel in "abandoning the world" and "suffering poverty & hunger". Most of the time he kept himself busy in dhikr. He come back with his senses when some one visit to him and talk to him. After a short exchange he showed his inability for sometime and slipped into the previous state of absorption.

Education of Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki(R.A):
No one knew that Syed Kamaluddin's son was a pious gentlemen, who would play the most successful role one day in the history and development of "Sufism" in India. When Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki(R.A) was only 5years he put under to the loving care of Maulana Abu Hafus a learned tutor who started teaching him both "Theological" as well as "Spiritual Knowledge". He was also very loyal to devotional practices(mujahedas) along to his early education for his "spiritual training". When Khwaza Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki(R.A) was 17 years of age then Hazrat Khwaza Moinuddin Chishti(R.A) travel to Awash, at that time Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki(R.A) himself offered as a disciple to the great Moinuddin Chishti(R.A) and have his blessing to the spiritual career. Immediately the great Khwaza Moinuddin chishti(R.A) accept him as a disciple.

His devotion towards Allah and his messenger:
During the period of 24 hours of day & night Khwaza Qutbuddin Bakthir Kaki(R.A) used to offer salah of 95 rakats and also read 3000 times Durud Sharif in every night upon the soul of the "Holy Prophet(S.A.W.S)". But he could not continue the "Durud Sharif" during the 1st three nights after his marriage. To know the reason the "Holy Prophet(S.A.W.S)" sent Rais Ahmed a visionary message for the matter. Why Qutbuddin Bakthir Kaki(R.A) do not reading the "Durud Sharif". Therefore Qutbuddin Bakthir Kaki(R.A) divorced to his wife to mark of repentance and broke off all the worldly ties to devoted his rest of the life for the "devotion of God" in full time.

In the year 1196(17th Shahbanon 512Hijri) Hazrat Syed Alauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir Kalyari was born in Herat(in the district of Afganistan). Syed Abdul Rahim was his father and a descendent of Hazrat Gaus-E-Azam Dastagir. Baba Fareed's elder sister Jamila Khatun was his mother. Sabir Pak is known with the name Alauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir Kalyari. Jamila Khatoon in her dream revealed the name Ali and Ahmed. The name Alauddin given by his father and the title Sabir was given by Baba Farid. As his tomb is in Kalyar Sharif so why he also known as Kalyari. When Sabir Pak was very young his father died and in the year 1204 he came with his mother to Pak Pattan near Baba Fareed Gang-e-sarker. Baba Fareed gave him the charge of a shared kitchen(langer). After a gap his mother visit to see him and saw his was not quite healthy. She want explanation from her brother Baba Fareed and know that her brother put her son in charge to the kitchen where was plenty of food available. When Jamila Khatoon asked to her son, her son admit the fact and explain that he was in charge of the kitchen although he never eat from it. He was managed the food from the jungle in his spare time and ate what he found from the jungle. Hence the name Sabir(Patient one) was given to him. In the year 1253 A.D Sabir Pak was achieved the position of "Kalyar Sharif" By Baba Fareed(after being anointed as the protector of Kalyar Village). In the year 1291(13 Rabi' al-awwal, 690 Hijri) he was died after spending rest of his life at Kalyar. The only disciple he had and a branch of the "Chishti Orded" known as "Chishti Sabiri" was started action through that disciple.

Education and Marriage:
Sabir Pak was a brilliant student and his uncle Baba Fareed was his primary teacher. Mainly Sabir Pak was involved in spiritual education and also most of the time he was busy in zikr & silent. We know from the scholar that when Hazrat Sabir Pak had step to the age of his marriage, his mother Jamila Khatun asked Baba Fareed(Jamila Khatuns brother) for his daughter to give marriage with Sabir Pak. Baba Fareed replied to his sister that the marriage was only possible if his disciple Hazrat Sabir Pak himself agree to get marry. After urging several time by sister, Baba Fareed for his daughter's marriage with his disciple. In the night after wedding when Sabir Pak enter to his bedroom he saw on his right the woman was sitting, but he over looked her due to his intense meditation. The woman remain the whole night in the sitting position to his right and finally asked Sabir Pak to give attention to her. Sabir Pak asked her "who she is"? In replied she said that she was his wife. Sabir Pak looked at her wife and she burst into flames and was consumed.

His life at Kalyar Sharif:
Sabir Pak stayed in the house of Gulzari, when he first visit to Kalyar. Once he went to the Mosque for Friday prayers in the 1st row where the rich people make fun to him and told him to go back, because the front row was reserved to "privileged class" which is totally against the spirit of Islam. During the prayers Sabir Pak commanded to the Mosque that "when everyone is bowing why don't you(the Mosque) bow down in sazda". As he command the Mosque was collapsed and all the men were died. Gulzari rushed to the Mosque for her son after getting the news. When she reached near the Mosque, Sabir Pak ordered her to pull her son out among the dead bodies. When Gulzari obey his ordered, she saw her was alive. This was one of the Miracles of Hazrat Sabir Pak. Once Sabir Pak kept standing(for twelve years) holding with a branch of the Gular Tree.

Urs of Hazrat Sabir Pak:
In the month of March-April(Rabi-al-awwal) the celebration of the death anniversary(Urs) of Sabir Pak is held held every year at the Dargha Sharif. We saw the picture of national integration on the Dargha as people from different religion, caste or creed gathered in large numbers on the time of Urs. When the moon appears in the sky on the month of Rabi-al-awwal, the head of the priest goes to the old house of Sabir Pak in the village to reads the "Khatam Sharif" and walks out with a plate containing dori & mendhi on his head. Then the priest goes to the Dargha to read the "Fatiha'. After the "Fatiha" the dori(thread) distributed amongst all the people who present at the Dargha Sharif.
