HAZRAT KHWAZA FAKHRUDDIN CHISHTI(R.A)

Majar of Hazrat Fakhruddin Chishty(R.A)

Hazrat Khwaza Fakhruddin Chishty(R.A) was the great Sufi Saint as well as a scholar of 12th century. He was the eldest son of Khwaza Gharib Nawaz(R.A). In the early age Khwaza Fakhruddin(R.A) reached the great centre of learning in Bukhara, Samarkand and Uzbekistan where He became a Hhafiz and distinguished Alim very fast. But he was not fully satisfied with this and He began strictly controls of prayers, fasting, meditations and self-renunciation for long period. He grew more intense and vigorous until Allha granted Him the noble rank of sainthood.
Hazrat Khwaza Fakhruddin(R.A) fast for seven days and break His fast on the eight day with small piece of bread soaked in water. At this time He need for a Sheikh(spiritual guide) feeling the truth of the Qur'anic injunction, "Oye who believe! Be mindful of your duty towards Allha, and seek a means of approach unto Him, and strain in his way in order that you may succeed".
When Khwaza Gharib Nawaz(R.A) pass away, Hazrat Khwaza Fakhruddin(R.A) offered Namaz-e-janaza of His beloved father. After 20years Hazrat Khwaza Fakhruddin Chishty(R.A) died. His Majar Sharif is situated in Sarwar Sharif, 40 miles away from Ajmer, and located in the town near a pond. In Mandal town He was a farmer to manage His livelihood. He was five son  blessed by Allha. On 3rd of Shaban every year His annual Urs ceremony took place.
